Educational levels
The Athletics Coaches Qualification Program offers an integrated training path that progresses through three main levels to develop the competence of coaches and improve the performance of players at different age levels:
Level One: Introduction for Juniors (Under 16 years old) This level represents a "bridge" that takes players from the basics of "Children's Athletics" (Under 12 years old) to active athletics.
It aims to qualify coaches capable of preparing and training young people (aged 13 to 15) in all competition groups, while familiarizing them with the theoretical aspects and practical skills of training.
The structure of this level consists of 30 online study units (covering theory, planning, technique, and training) plus 6 practical units under the supervision of a mentor instructor.
Level Two: Youth Development (Under 20 years old) is an introduction to advanced performance training for trainers who have proven their competence at Level One.
This level requires specialization in one of the competition groups (sprints and hurdles, middle and long distances, walking, jumping, throwing, or combined events).
It aims to equip the coach with the ability to identify competition models, and to plan and implement weekly (mini) training courses and daily units within an annual training plan.
Its structure includes 10 online theoretical modules, and a 6-day face-to-face practical course comprising 30 modules.
To join, one year of practical experience is required after passing the first level and a recommendation from the National Union.
LevelThree: High Performance Training (Age Group Over 20) focuses on advanced development and high performance training in a selected group of competitions to qualify elite players.
This level of training enables the planner to plan and execute medium and large training courses within multi-year training plans to achieve the best competitive results.
The training includes case studies of the world’s leading players, modern scientific applications, and the use of artificial intelligence (KI) technology and monitoring, along with leadership and communication skills.
Its structure consists of 20 online modules, 6 online preparation modules, and 4 days of face-to-face practical training.
